Full Time Counselor

The primary role of a counselor is to care for their campers as they walk alongside them through the daily activities of camp. This role requires energy, patience, love, and a willingness to look beyond your own needs in order to wholeheartedly serve the children in your care. Counselors arrive at camp the day before the campers to prepare the cabins and then they are there to welcome the campers as they arrive. Each Counselor is responsible for a cabin of 4 campers alongside 2-3 Co-Counselor in order to provide the very best care for each camper. Training is mandatory. Full time counselors must be 18+

Evening Relief Counselor

A team of adults that come in Monday-Thursday evenings 7-10pm and spend time with a cabin of campers alongside a Co-Relief Counselor while the Counselors have their break. They are encouraged to come earlier in the evening to prepare and spend time with the campers. This is a great, meaningful time spent with them as they participate in a fun evening activity, wind down from their day, and get ready for bed. Training is mandatory

Junior Staff Assistant's

Junior Volunteers are individuals between the ages of 15 and 17.

Junior Volunteers assist in a variety of tasks from serving as Junior Counselors/counselors in training to helping with crafts or activity stations to helping with meal set-up and service to participating in daily dramas during the week of camp. As with all volunteers, they are expected to be on time, follow camp rules, take direction from the Dean of Juniors, and most of all maintain confidentiality.

Junior Volunteers are able to earn Community Service credits towards their high school graduation.

There are a limited number of openings each year. Priority is given to returning Junior Volunteers.​

Support Staff

Different areas involved with being on staff: include Nurse, Licensed Counselor/Social Worker, Drama, Music, Woodshop, Activity Centers, Breakfast Club and more. While the Counselors spend most of their time with their assigned campers, staff members have the opportunity to interact with more of the kids. Support Staff can be full-time or part-time, you have the option to stay at camp the full week or come during the day when you are available.

Part Time Volunteer

Volunteer a few hours each day.

• Morning Volunteer

  • Tuesday-Friday 8:30-12:30pm

  • This is a time to help campers with lessons/chapel, activities, and music.

• Afternoon Volunteer

  • Monday-Thursday 12:30-5:30pm

  • Help with activity stations such as: Woodworking, Dress Up, Craft Centers and Games.​

Other Ways to Volunteer

Help “Behind the Scenes” outside of the week of camp.

• Make special gifts for campers like no-sew fleece blankets or pillow cases.

• Join our Work Party on Sunday, July 12th to assemble camp and camper supplies.

• Join our fundraising team or help assist with fundraising efforts.
